VIVA Cruises has unveiled its 2028 river cruise season, marking the company’s 10th anniversary with an expanded program of 325 sailings across seven ships. Featuring new itineraries, increased departures, and a larger collection of themed cruises, the anniversary season includes sailings across the Rhine, Main, Moselle, Danube, and Douro rivers, as well as itineraries on the canals of Germany and the Baltic coast.

“As we celebrate 10 years of VIVA Cruises, we’re proud of how far we’ve come and excited for what lies ahead. Our 2028 season reflects that momentum, with more itineraries, expanded departures and unique onboard experiences that give travelers even more ways to discover Europe,” said Nasim Ghannadian, vice president sales & marketing North America of VIVA Cruises. “We look forward to marking this milestone with our guests and continuing to deliver the exceptional river cruising experiences that define VIVA Cruises.”

Highlights of the 2028 season include VIVA MOMENTS joining the Danube lineup with new seven-night itineraries between Passau, Vienna, and Budapest, as well as VIVA ENJOY expanding its popular seven-night Vienna roundtrip program from 12 to 22 departures, with Regensburg as an additional turnaround port.

VIVA TWO will introduce new five-night Danube cruises connecting Passau, Vienna, Budapest, and Bratislava, while VIVA ONE will increase its seven-night Moselle roundtrips from Dusseldorf from 10 to 15 departures. The ship will also introduce new four-night Rhine cruises in November and December.

The 2028 season will also feature an expanded lineup of themed departures, from music and culinary exploration to wine and entertainment. Highlights include seven-night Jazz Cruises featuring pianist Frank Muschalle aboard VIVA ONE, seven Crime Cruises aboard VIVA RUBY, and culinary-focused sailings aboard VIVA ENJOY along the Danube River and VIVA MIRANTE along the Douro River.

Wine enthusiasts can also enjoy dedicated Wine Cruises aboard VIVA MOMENTS and VIVA RUBY, featuring exclusive experiences with Masters of Wine.
