The Travel Institute Unveils All-New Education Hub

The Travel Institute has unveiled an all-new Education Hub that offers 24/7, on-demand continuing education for both seasoned travel advisors and new advisors at all stages of their career.

“Our all-new Education Hub is a game-changer for serious travel professionals who want to elevate their success,” said Diane Petras, CTIE, president of The Travel Institute. “Built from the ground up, the Education Hub utilizes an advanced and intuitive interface to give users unlimited access to the industry’s most valuable, timely and applicable content—meeting travel professionals where they are with what they need and when they need it.”

The Education Hub offers newly refreshed, vetted, and organized content sourced from experts both within and outside the travel industry, as well as from in-house at The Travel Institute. The enhanced interface enables faster search through thoughtful categorization by application and topic, as well as streamlined design and navigation.

Examples of the type of content travel advisors will find in the new Education Hub are:

  • Peer-to-peer white papers
  • PEP Talk lectures (AI, service fees, risk management, social media, and more)
  • Sales and marketing tips and tricks
  • Business planning tools
  • Finance courses
  • Risk management operational workflows
  • Destination and niche market courses
  • Hub Perks: tools, discounts, and other extras provided by The Travel Institute’s partners and suppliers

“Educated agents are more productive and studies prove it. Our partners are further emphasizing this fact through a shared commitment with The Travel Institute to support advisor education, encouraging all to achieve and maintain a high-level of travel knowledge and expertise that translates into success for both individuals and for our industry,” said Guida Botelho, CTIE, senior director of education for The Travel Institute.

“To be a successful travel advisor today, it’s not enough to simply know how to book or to say you took this or that course or program years ago. Advisors need to continually build their expertise to deliver top-tier service and increase their earnings. The Education Hub is a unique and exciting new resource built for travel professionals serious about doing exactly that,” Botelho added.

Subscribers of the non-profit education leader’s continued learning library were automatically migrated to the all-new Education Hub, available for $19.99 monthly/$199 annually. Using the Hub, certified graduates also earn continuing education units, or CEUs, toward maintaining their certification.

Advisors can enroll at The Travel Institute’s Education Hub.
