The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has lifted its ground stop that halted all Alaska Airlines mainline and subcarrier flights excluding SkyWest on Wednesday.

The FAA issued the ground stop around 11:00 a.m. EST on Wednesday without giving reason. According to the FAA alerting system, the stoppage was due to expire at 11:30 a.m. EST, and was lifted just after.

At the time, representatives for the airline said that it was working on getting things up and running as quickly as possible, but wouldn’t confirm the reason for the stoppage. Reports said that Alaska had asked the FAA to pause all of its mainline departures because of errors using its system to weigh and balance flights.
