Delta Air Lines is boosting service out of Texas.

Starting on June 5, from its hub in Dallas Love Field, Delta will fly 2 times daily service to New York LaGuardia, 2 times daily service to Los Angeles International, and 5 times daily to its hub in Atlanta-Hartsfield.

The additions will see Delta offer Dallas flyers one-stop access to over 125 U.S. destinations through some of those key hubs.

Delta will also be the only carrier offering service to New York and Los Angeles from both Dallas airports—Love Field and Dallas Fort Worth. The carrier will operate nearly 40 peak-day departures to eight destinations from Love Field and Fort Worth combined

“After a nearly decade-long effort, Delta has secured long-term access at Dallas Love Field, giving us the ability to serve more customers in Dallas and North Texas for years to come,” said Joe Esposito, Delta’s Senior Vice President – Network Planning.

At the same time, Delta is boosting service from Austin, which has been its fastest-growing airport since 2019.

Starting on July 10, Delta will up that Austin schedule with 10 daily departures to Atlanta-Hartfield, 3 times daily to Boston, 4 times daily to Los Angeles International, 4 times daily to Minneapolis−Saint Paul International Airport, 3 times daily to Seattle, and 2 times daily to Raleigh-Durham International Airport.

It is shaping up to be a big 2023 for Delta. The carrier, aside from these new routes, has also announced two major changes to its inflight services. The first is that it is bringing back the dessert cart on some of its flights.

The second is that Delta Air Lines will offer free Wi-Fi to its passengers starting on Feb. 1. Initially, free Wi-Fi will only be available on planes capable of providing it, accounting for nearly 80% of its domestic fleet (those that are equipped with Viasat). Delta will then work to make it available across its full fleet, with the goal of doing so by the end of 2024 for all domestic, international, and regional flights.
