Starting later this year, Delta will begin rolling out big updates to its corporate accounts with a new digital platform, called Delta Business, that replaces the current Delta Professional site. Delta made the announcement at its SHOWCASE event, held this week. The new site will go live for all of Delta’s corporate accounts later this year, and then all of its agency partners in 2026.
There are three new features that Delta spotlighted at SHOWCASE.
The first is what Delta is calling “intuitive navigation,” a new interface built around real-world workflows. Delta says this will make it easier for its users to find and act on information that’s driving their decisions.
The second is Smart Search, a better search option that, according to Sara Reid, Delta’s managing director of sales and distribution innovation, “is designed to understand what you’re looking for and bringing the right information together in one place quickly and intuitively.” The big thing for users here is that they’ll no longer have to navigate through the Delta Professional site to get the info they’re looking for. They’ll be able to search for specific information and allow Delta to navigate them to it. They’ll also be able to search for specific tickets by Passenger Name Record (PNR).
Smart Search is built to get better as more users engage with it and Delta expands to support more queries. The expectation is that what Delta launches at beta will gradually improve with more users.
The last feature is a better Delta Business Wallet. The wallet is the home for loyalty tokens, service points, and amenity points. The new dashboard will display the value at the top right and allow users to see where they can apply the points to directly upgrade, request status, and more.
“You can see what you have available, understand what it can be used for, and decide how to apply it based on your company’s priorities. It’s about empowering you to use your value your way,” Reid said onstage.
As part of the upgrades, Delta is now allowing users to waive fees on unused ticket transfers by using those service points.
“For the first time, you’ll be able to use your service points to waiver the fee on unused ticket transfer,” Reid said. “We heard you, this is a major win for our customers.”
