The Philippine Department of Tourism and wholesale tour operator Avanti Destinations are offering travel advisors an informational webinar to learn more about the destination. The webinar will be held Tuesday, September 27 at 1 pm (ET). A new 50-page educational e-brochure is also available for advisors to download from Avanti’s advisor portal.

“If your clients are looking for a tropical paradise with friendly local people, it’s hard to top the Philippines,” said Paul Barry, CEO of Avanti Destinations, which sells its tours exclusively through travel advisors. “There are so many eco adventures to be had: snorkeling, scuba diving, world-class surfing, volcano trekking, parasailing, wildlife-spotting, swimming with the world’s largest fish – the list goes on and on. We have several unique private tours and experiences, like a visit to the indigenous Aetas people or a foodie tour of Manila’s Chinatown that can be added to any custom itinerary.”

The Philippines has been open to international tourists since February of this year. It is known for its white sand beaches, waterfalls, marine life and friendly people, almost all of whom speak English.

“After months of just dreaming about traveling, we are very excited to welcome foreign tourists to our islands again,” said Soleil Tropicales, Tourism Attaché for the Philippine Department of Tourism, North American office. “Through our partnership with Avanti Destinations, we are able to showcase some of the best islands in the world with the most fun and unique activities that should be on your clients’ bucket lists.”

Advisors must pre-register for the webinar to attend.
