Air Transat has announced it has reached a tentative agreement with the union representing its pilots.

“This agreement marks a significant step in the process, eliminating the risk of a strike and allowing our customers to travel with peace of mind,” Transat says on its website.

“It will be submitted to members for ratification in the coming days. Our operations are returning to normal.”

The Transat statement continued: “We recognize that this period caused significant uncertainty, and we offer our sincerest apologies to customers whose travel plans were disrupted in recent days. Our priority now is to rapidly restore our operations and provide you with the best possible service.”

Visit the Air Transat strike update page to find out more information and answers to frequently asked questions about the flexibility policy, cancelled flights, confirmation of future bookings etc.
