British Airways is canceling all flights between London Gatwick (LGW) and New York’s JFK International (JFK) until 2025 due to delays in engine deliveries from Rolls-Royce.

More than 100 flights are expected to be canceled from Gatwick through March 25, 2025, according to the U.K.’s The Mirror news outlet. British Airways expressed “disappointment” over being forced to make this change, citing delivery delays with the Rolls-Royce Trent 1000 engines used in its Boeing 787 aircraft as the reason for the cancellations.

Service between London Heathrow (LHR) and New York remains on schedule and is not expected to be impacted by the engine delays. The airline is re-accommodating affected passengers on flights departing from Heathrow.
