Virgin to Fly L.A. to Hawaii
Virgin American is adding a new Los Angeles (LAX) to Honolulu route starting May 5 and a new Los Angeles to Maui route starting June 14. The route allows Virgin to fly roundtrip connected service from Honolulu to John F. Kennedy International Airport, Las Vegas McCarran International Airport, and Seattle-Tacoma International Airport.
The Honolulu service will depart LAX at 10:35 a.m. daily and return at 2:25 pm. The Maui service will depart LAX at 9:35 a.m. and return at 1:40 p.m.
The routes come just months after Virgin added new San Francisco-to-Hawaii daily routes. According to Virgin, Hawaii is the number-one destination of choice of members of its loyalty program.
To celebrate the new route, Virgin is offering one-way fares of $169.
