Celebrity Ascent to Feature New Food & Beverage Options
by Dori Saltzman /When Celebrity Ascent, the fourth in Celebrity Cruises' Edge Class of ships, debuts in November it will feature a number of new food and beverage experiences including a plant-based tasting menu at Eden, all-new Petit Chef dinner show (new animation and menu), and the addition of an daytime outdoor terrace at Blu for up to 24 diners.
Le Voyage by Daniel Boulud, which debuted on Celebrity Beyond, returns on Celebrity Ascent in a somewhat redesigned format.
At Craft Social and the Martini Bar, menus will be expanded. Craft Social will offer high-end bourbons and new tasting seminars. The Martini Bar will feature brand-new creations, such as lychee and passion fruit martinis.
In the theater, Celebrity Ascent will feature three all-new production shows, while cruisers can check out new immersive shows in Eden.
"I am so excited to introduce the world to Celebrity Ascent and continue the legacy of Celebrity's Edge Series," said Celebrity Cruises' president Laura Hodges Bethge.
Celebrity Ascent will sail from Fort Lauderdale from November 2023 to April 2024, before repositioning to Europe.
