Disney Brings Marvel To The High Seas
by Daniel McCarthy /For the first time, Disney Cruise Line is bringing super heroes and villains from the Marvel Universe onto its ships as part of its new Marvel Day at Sea.
During seven sailings on the Disney Magic in fall 2017, Marvel characters will provide all-day entertainment to Disney Cruise Line guests.
Exclusive at-sea screenings of Marvel movies, as well as kids activities, special merchandise, themed food and beverage offerings and characters meet and greets, will be featured onboard.
The sailings are all seven or eight nights long and depart from New York in 2017, on Oct. 6, 14 and 28 and Nov. 4, 11 and 18. They include a stop at Castaway Cay and Port Canaveral with a day at Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando.
One seven-night Canadian Coast cruise leaving New York on Oct. 21, 2017, also will feature a Marvel Day at Sea.
