Flair Vacations Announces Industry Veterans for Key Leadership Posts

The Flair Vacations leadership team.

Ahead of its launch this fall, Flair Vacations today has announced the appointments of Lindsay Watkinson as Director of Commercial Operations, Nadia Granata as Director of Marketing and Rares Dumitru as Director of Business Development & Partnerships.

“As we prepare to launch Flair Vacations, we’re building a leadership team with deep industry expertise and strong relationships,” said Flair Vacations president Nicole Bursey.

“The team brings the experience, credibility and commercial leadership that will help us establish Flair Vacations as a trusted choice for Canadian travellers and travel advisors.”

The tour operator spinoff of Flair Airlines has announced four initial sun destinations: Cancún, Puerto Vallarta, Punta Cana and Montego Bay. The company’s launch portfolio will be completed with a fifth sun destination to be announced in the coming weeks.

Flair Airlines will launch Flair Vacations this fall.

Bringing more than 50 years of combined travel industry experience, Watkinson, Granata and Dumitru round out the Flair Vacations leadership team. With the hires, Flair Vacations says it is well-positioned and committed to understanding the evolving needs of Canadian travel advisors.

Watkinson joined Flair Vacations in June as Director of Commercial Operations after nearly 19 years at Transat, where she most recently served as Sales Manager for Ontario, Atlantic Canada and Western Canada. Throughout her career, she has built strong relationships with travel advisors across the country while helping drive commercial performance and distribution growth.

Granata brings more than 15 years of travel marketing experience, most recently as a Senior Marketing Manager with SellOff Vacations and Sunwing Travel Group. Her background includes supplier partnerships, brand strategy, digital marketing and national campaigns, with previous roles at Park’N Fly and itravel2000.

Dumitru brings more than 15 years of experience in travel sales and partnerships, most recently at Goway Travel. He has also held senior roles with Rail Europe, Kensington Tours, and Trafalgar Tours, building relationships with travel advisors and industry partners across Canada.

Travel agents can reach out to FVagencysupport@flyflair.com to learn more about the new operator’s offerings.
