Travel Market Report Canada on Location: Air Canada Vacations’ 50th Celebration Kicks Off in Cancun

Travel Market Report Canada on Location: Air Canada Vacations’ 50th Celebration Kicks Off in Cancun

The rain didn’t dampen spirits in the slightest, as Travel Market Report Canada landed in Cancun Tuesday afternoon (November 4) along with nearly 400 advisors and suppliers for Air Canada Vacations’ 50th Anniversary three-day “Celebration Under the Sun.”

If any Canadian travel advisors who specialize in groups ever wonders how best a resort can adapt to unexpected weather, keep the newly rebranded Hyatt Vivid Playa del Carmen (formerly Hilton Playa del Carmen) top of mind. You’d never have guessed that our beautifully executed dinner had been seamlessly moved indoors at the last minute.

Advisors are being hosted at 9 different properties across the Riviera Maya: Hotel Xcaret Arte, Paradisus La Perla, Dreams Natura Resort & Spa, Hyatt Vivid Playa del Carmen, Bahia Principe Grand Tulum, Hilton Cancun All-Inclusive, Grand Palladium Kantenah, Catalonia Grand Costa Mujeres, and Mahekal Beach Resort. Travel Market Report is at the Hyatt Vivid.

“There’s a real sense of pride and anticipation in bringing together so many dedicated travel advisors from coast to coast for our anniversary celebration,” said Nino Montagnese, Vice President at Air Canada Vacations.

“I’m looking forward to seeing new connections created and old friendships rekindled, all while sharing knowledge and celebrating everything that makes Air Canada Vacations so special. Having our advisors together in one place is more than just a milestone—it’s a testament to the strength of our community and our shared passion for travel. We can’t wait to make unforgettable memories together!”

Travel Market Report Canada is in “Group 4” led by Andrea Arkell Key, Account Manager, ACV@Home, Ontario and Eastern Canada and is looking forward to the next few days just as much as Freddie Marsh, Playa Hotels and Resorts’ Business Development Manager for Western Canada and Atlantic Canada, is.

“We’re proud to be part of Air Canada Vacations’ 50th birthday celebration as a host hotel at Hyatt Vivid Playa del Carmen,” Marsh said. “It’s an honour to help mark this incredible milestone and continue creating unforgettable travel experiences together.”

The anniversary gala is happening Thursday (November 6) at the Grand Velas Riviera Maya – follow along here and on our social media for all the latest on the celebrations.
