Avanti Destinations has partnered with Tourism New Zealand on a new campaign to promote FIT travel to New Zealand, offering repeat travelers a discount on select bookings and rewarding travel advisors with prizes for the top three sellers.

Avanti Destinations is an independent travel specialist, offering custom itineraries for travelers in s in Europe, North Africa, the Middle East, Asia, the South Pacific, and Central and South America. Based in Oregon, the tour operator is B2B-exclusive and sells only through travel advisors.

Until April 30, 2026, guests who have purchased at least $3,000 of Avanti Destinations land services in the last 12 months will earn $150 off New Zealand bookings of three nights or more, for travel through Dec. 31, 2026.

The three travel advisors who sell the most New Zealand bookings (of three nights or more) during the campaign period will earn gift cards: $300 for the top seller, $150 for the runner-up, and $50 for third place.

“The contest and repeat traveler reward give advisors and their clients just one more reason to choose New Zealand for their vacation, in addition to the country’s spectacular landscapes from beaches to fjords and glaciers, active travel opportunities, immersive experiences with indigenous Maori culture, vineyards and award-winning wines, scenic trains, as well as filming locations for ‘Lord of the Rings,’ ‘The Hobbit,’ and other movies,” said Paul Barry, CEO of Avanti Destinations.

Currently, Avanti offers four customizable packages in New Zealand, with a curated collection of 99 hotels and 166 tours and experiences for guests to choose from. The tour operator’s best-selling itinerary is the 14-day New Zealand Discovery, which is a self-drive tour of the country that includes a small group Waitomo Caves tour, a Coastal Pacific train ride, and a small group Milford Sound tour by coach and cruise.

For more information on Avanti Destinations’ New Zealand products, travel advisors can visit the tour operator’s advisor portal.

“New Zealand is a year-round destination, ideal for families and independent adult travelers alike,” added Barry.
