Club Med Tremblant to Open in 2028 as 2nd Canadian Property

Club Med Tremblant to Open in 2028 as 2nd Canadian Property

Club Med will build a second Canadian property at Tremblant.

Club Med has officially announced that it will build a second Canadian property at Tremblant, Quebec’s flagship ski resort.

The future resort will be the group’s second property in Canada, following the opening of Club Med Québec Charlevoix in 2021.

“Canada is a key market in our North American growth strategy,” said Carolyne Doyon, President and CEO, North America and the Caribbean.

“With the imminent opening of Club Med Tremblant, we are thrilled to introduce a new destination, offering a unique, all-inclusive, upscale mountain experience, delivering the immersive and unforgettable vacations that have defined Club Med for decades.”

On December 5, Doyon and Rémy Bourgeon, President of Alderan, representing the Comète Real Estate Investment Trust (“SCPI Comète”), finalized a financing agreement for the construction the resort.

It’s official: Club Med is coming to Tremblant.

Club Med will have a long-term lease allowing it to operate the site, as well as a construction contract designating Club Med as the delegated project owner responsible for the overall development of the project.

Scheduled to open in December 2028, Club Med Tremblant will offer a modern, upscale, all-inclusive mountain experience, inspired by the contemporary design of Alpine chalets. The company says it will “blend playful charm with a warm and welcoming atmosphere, perfectly in harmony with the unique spirit of Club Med villages and Tremblant’s architecture.”

Designed for families and travellers seeking activities and a change of scenery, Club Med Tremblant will offer:

  • A ski-in/ski-out experience with included lift passes and tailored lessons.
  • Gourmet cuisine inspired by Alpine traditions, featuring local flavours and suppliers.
  • Dedicated kids’ clubs for children from 4 months to 17 years old.
  • A variety of summer activities (hiking, cycling, kayaking, etc.)
  • Immersive wellness experiences, including a world-renowned spa.
  • A warm and multicultural team of GOs (Gentils Organisateurs) offering the iconic Club Med hospitality.
