Four Seasons Resort Maui at Wailea’s three-bedroom Maile Presidential Suite has received a full makeover. The redesigned luxury accommodation has a new color palette and floor plan that maximizes comfort and stunning 180-degree views from the resort’s top floor. The suite’s primary bedroom is spa-inspired, with an en-suite digitally controlled shower, a deep soaking tub, an infrared sauna, and a cold plunge.

Hotel Per La, a boutique Italian-inspired hotel in Downtown Los Angeles, has appointed James Sheets as its new director of sales and marketing. Sheets has 26 years of experience in hospitality, previously holding leadership roles at The Ritz-Carlton, Marina del Rey, and The Ritz-Carlton, Atlanta.

Playa Hotels & Resorts has unveiled a multimillion-dollar renovation of Hyatt Ziva Puerto Vallarta. The resort now has reimagined accommodations, new culinary concepts, and expanded amenities, including Tamari, an Asian-fusion restaurant; a reimagined kids’ club, and redesigned event spaces. More renovations are in progress in 2025.

Grand Hyatt Baha Mar has renovated four of its suites with families, friends, and groups in mind. Each suite sleeps six people comfortably inside its two bedrooms, each with one king bed and a bunk bed. The suites also have spacious family rooms, an airy, refreshed look, and are now available to book.

Resorts World Las Vegas has appointed Greg Shulman as its executive vice president of international marketing. The casino industry veteran has more than 30 years of experience in the gaming world, having previously served as a key member of the opening team at the Bellagio and as MGM Resorts’ VP of casino marketing and hospitality.

Ahead of its May 15 grand opening, Rosewood Mandarina has announced Juan Carlos Cardona Aquino as its managing director and Tom Puntel as the cluster director of sales & marketing. The new resort is situated in Riviera Nayarit along Mexico’s Pacific coast, just 45 minutes from Puerto Vallarta International Airport.

TOOR Hotel, a 232-room upscale lifestyle hotel in downtown Toronto, has just joined the JdV by Hyatt brand. The property features the French-inspired Muse Bistro + Bar, chic indoor and outdoor event spaces, and a fitness studio with panoramic views of the city.

W Punta Cana, Adult All-Inclusive has named Omar Rivera its general manager ahead of its grand opening this spring. It will be the W Hotels’ brand’s first-ever all-inclusive resort. Rivera previously served as the managing director of Hyatt’s Inclusive Collection in Jamaica.

Randy Morton is the new general manager of Waldorf Astoria Las Vegas, a 389-room luxury non-gaming, non-smoking property on the Las Vegas Strip. The hospitality veteran previously spent 10 years as the president and COO of Bellagio Resort & Casino, and in various other leadership roles across his 30-plus-year career. He will now guide the Vegas Waldorf Astoria property through the completion of major renovations, including a reimagined 23rd floor.

Westin Hotels & Resorts has partnered with goop, Gwenyth Paltrow’s lifestyle brand, to launch a Sleep Training for Grown-ups Series. The three-part video series is designed to help travelers optimize their sleep experience and comes on the heels of Westin’s Heavenly Bed launch, as the hotel brand aims to be a leader in providing expert sleep resources.
