CIE Tours’ highly anticipated walking and hiking tours are now available to book for 2026 departures.

CIE Tours has created two new walking and hiking tours for Ireland: Ireland Walking & Hiking: The Northern Coast and Ireland Walking & Hiking: Cork to Kerry. The nine-day itineraries invite active-minded travelers to experience the Emerald Isle in an immersive, small-group setting.

“These new itineraries strike a perfect balance between active exploration and sightseeing,” said Stephen Cotter, managing director of CIE Tours. “This launch marks an exciting evolution of our brand by offering travelers a new way to experience Ireland through the active lens of walking and hiking.”

The two new itineraries will operate from May to September. Groups will be limited to 16 guests, and each day will include two to six miles of walking “at a comfortable pace,” the company said in a release.

“With more than 90 years of Irish travel expertise, we’ve crafted each tour to showcase not only the country’s iconic landmarks, but also its hidden gems, scenic trails, and local culture,” added Cotter. “Whether it’s a guest’s first trip with us or their fifth, this is a fresh way to see Ireland.”

CIE Tours’ New European Tours for 2026

CIE Tours is also expanding its portfolio in 2026 with three new itineraries across Europe: one in the U.K. and two in Italy.

The nine-day Scenic Britain tour explores England, Scotland, and Wales. Highlights include Windsor Castle, Stonehenge, and Edinburgh Castle.

The new Italian journeys include the 10-day Classic Journey: Italian Lakes to Rome, which explores cultural treasures from the elegance of Milan to the grandeur of the Vatican, and the extended 13-day Grand Tour: Italian Lakes to Amalfi Coast, which adds Capri, Pompeii, and Positano.

CIE Tours: Limited Time Savings

For a limited time, travelers can save up to $500 ($600 CAD) per person on all 2026 tours with no blackout dates, including private driver experiences. The promotion is effective now, and is valid for new bookings made before July 31, 2025, for travel between Jan. 1 and Dec. 31, 2026.
