Direct Travel announced this week that the company has significantly upgraded its exclusive commission tracking tool, Direct Tracker.

The enhanced Direct Tracker gives travel advisors instant access to productivity data, with full download capabilities. In addition to monitoring business performance, advisors can also now use the tool to “identity and recover unclaimed commissions,” the company said in a release.

“All Independent Contractors run their business in their own way – this enhancement gives them full control over their sales and commission data, making it easier to reconcile their financial records,” said Stephen Smith, Direct Travel’s senior vice president of strategy and marketing. “We are constantly focused on making it easier for them to run their travel business.”

The tool also gives travel advisors the option to view monthly performance by travel category, including air, hotel, cruise, and other commissionable ancillary sales.

“This enhanced ability to recover unclaimed commissions is a game-changer in our industry,” said Joelle Goldman, Direct Travel’s vice president of host services & luxury hotel programs in North America. “Our goal is to help our advisors to focus more on curating unforgettable experiences and less on administrative tasks.”

Direct Travel has spent the last year bolstering its resources and growing its executive team. After Concur founder Steve Singh acquired Direct Travel in April 2024, the company has been evolving – including the addition of Allison Breeding in the newly created chief marketing officer role.
