Eddy Eldebs Announces “The Porter Zone” Giveaway for Canadian Travel Awards

by John Kirk  September 19, 2025

TMR Canada Editor-in-Chief John Kirk met with Porter Airlines’ Chief Commercial Officer Edmond (Eddy) Eldebs at John C Munro International Airport in Hamilton this week on a bright and sunny morning.

They speak in detail about the airline’s expansion out of the recently redesigned airport and the impact these flights are having on the community. Things appear to be going well, as you will see in our interview from inside the terminal.

Every travel advisor who participates in voting for the first-annual Canadian Travel Awards will be entered to win one of 14 trips to the gala awards ceremony, taking place on November 13 at Hotel X in Toronto. Winners from across Canada will fly from their nearest Porter gateway and enjoy hotel accommodation, transfers to the event, dedicated seating and the kind of personalized service that Porter offers on its flights.

To be eligible, simply vote for your favourite suppliers. Within 24 hours of casting your votes, you’ll automatically receive an email regarding a free 3 GB eSIM for your personal use, plus 100 individual 1 GB eSIM cards you can offer as a thank-you to clients when they book with you.
