G Adventures Adds 100+ Itineraries as Canada Sees “Massive Growth”

G Adventures has launched more than 100 new itineraries as the tour operator continues to see huge growth in Canada.

“We are continuing to see massive growth in the Canadian market, and all these extra trips are helping with the massive inventory that we need to meet demand.,” G’s David Green, VP Sales and Customer Operations & Managing Director Canada, told Travel Market Report Canada.

“Our new Solo-ish and Geluxe travel styles have been a huge success in Canada, so expanding these travel styles are going to be a huge hit with our agents”, says David Green, Managing Director, Canada.

The new trips span the globe and offer new destinations and one-of-a-kind adventures for every type of traveller. Highlights include new trips in the Balkans, Finland and Africa across G Adventures’ Local Living, Solo-ish, Geluxe, Classic and 18-to-Thirtysomething styles.

The trips make 2025 G’s largest new product drive to date, something that Yves Marceau, VP of product for G Adventures says follows on the heels of one of their largest growth years ever.

“We are being very intentional about new product development, noting regions where our offerings can benefit from more flexibility as well as expansion into regions where we haven’t been in the past. As with all of our itineraries, our priority is supporting local communities, and we’re thrilled that our new offerings will expand that positive impact, while offering travellers some incredible new ways to explore our world.”

With such a big number of new itineraries announced this year, Green wants to remind advisors the company is there to support them.

“This takes us to over 300 new trips in recent months, and that’s a lot for travel agents to learn! Please reach out to your local GPS for training support and sign up for our monthly In The Loop webinar, which occurs the first Wednesday of every month, where agents have the opportunity to learn lots and win big!” Green adds.

Highlights of the new trips being launched include:

Peru – more ways for more types of travellers to explore

Peru is a perennial favorite destination among travellers and G Adventures has revamped their ‘train to Machu Picchu’ options, where travellers can spend more time in the ancient Incan Capital of Cusco, meet local communities and glide through verdant valleys, local farmland and small villages by train to Aguas Calientes.

  • Peru’s Sacred Valley & Machu Picchu By Train – For travellers who don’t want to miss Machu Picchu but also don’t want to trek, this seven-day itinerary offers more time to soak up the magic of Cusco and its breathtaking surroundings, wander the Sacred Valley, visit the Planeterra-supported Ccaccaccollo Community and Women’s Weaving Co-op and explore the circular terraces of Moray and the ancient Maras Salt Mines. A relaxing train journey to see Machu Picchu means travellers don’t have to sacrifice a thing!
    From $1,349 CAD per person*.

Solo, but together

G Adventures has also added new destinations to the recently-launched Solo-ish style of trips, designed to appeal to travellers who have a desire to go at it alone, but also desire connection, camaraderie and the benefit of a local’s knowledge as they travel. New Solo-ish trips include:

  • Solo-ish Uzbekistan – Uzbekistan is a cultural crossroads brimming with rich history, vibrant bazaars, and jaw-dropping architecture that feels straight out of a storybook. This 12-day adventure brings travellers through historic cities, introduces them to mouthwatering local dishes, and immerses them into Uzbek culture, known for its music, dance and art. From $2,749 CAD per person*.
  • Solo-ish Cambodia – This 10-day trip reimagines one of G Adventures’ most popular Classic style trips, but for solo travellers. Solo-ish Cambodia explores the awe-inspiring Angkor Wat and Angkor Thom, includes a trek through the lush jungles of the Cardamom Mountains and invites travellers to dive into the turquoise waters of Koh Rong.  From $1,749 CAD per person*.

Winter is so hot right now – new cold weather adventures
Cold-weather tourism is having a moment, and G Adventures has added several new itineraries that revolve around that invigorating chill in the air.

Example trips include:

  • Winter in Finland: Lapland and Northern Lights – This seven-day adventure through Lapland celebrates the beauty of winter. An overnight train brings travellers from Helsinki north to Rovaniemi where the adventure begins. Scan the sky for the northern lights from the warmth of a tent, glide through snowy trails on a husky-pulled sleigh, meet Indigenous herders, learning their age-old traditions and daily life with reindeer.
    From $4,299 CAD per person*.
  • Active Northern Japan: Winter in Hokkaido – Starting in Tokyo and ending in Sapporo, this nine-day Active adventure includes a snowshoe adventure through the breathtaking Shiretoko Five Lakes and Primeval Forest, a visit with the Ainu Kotan, one of Japan’s last Indigenous communities and an overnight stay in a traditional onsen. From $5,999 CAD per person*.
