NaviStone, a tech solutions provider, has appointed Lisa Ertmann as director of travel industry partnerships.

Based in Chicago, Ertmann joins NaviStone from Norwegian Cruise Line. She started as a BDM at NCL in 2015, and worked her way up to senior manager, trade marketing. For the last three years, she’s led the North American trade marketing and media strategy, which involved developing marketing assets, overseeing campaigns, and optimizing digital platforms.

Ertmann is a travel industry veteran, having more than 20 years of experience working with advisors and selling travel directly to clients. In addition to working with The Mark Travel Corporation and Tri-State Travel, she was also the owner and operator of her own full-service travel agency for six years.

As NaviStone’s director of travel industry partnerships, Ertmann will work with travel and hospitality brands, along with trade partners, to turn consumer interest into bookings, drive repeat business, and maximize revenue.

“What drew me to NaviStone was the company’s data-driven, transparent approach to marketing and the way it partners so closely with brands,” said Ertmann. “It’s not just a platform. It’s a partner in solving real problems with speed, strategy, and incremental results.”

NaviStone helps travel companies drive growth by providing valuable data-driven insight to marketers. Its platform identifies high-intent customers and reaches them at the moment they are considering travel.

“Lisa’s passion for travel, her deep industry knowledge, and her commitment to strong relationships make her the ideal leader to grow our presence in the travel space,” said Larry Kavanagh, CEO of NaviStone. “More importantly, she understands the urgent challenges travel marketers face today, like how to move inventory without margin erosion, and how NaviStone’s intent-first solutions can help solve them.”
