New Insight Vacations Series ‘Encounters’ Highlights the People Behind the Destinations

New Insight Vacations Series ‘Encounters’ Highlights the People Behind the Destinations

Insight Vacations is putting authentic human stories at the center of its brand with the launch of Encounters—a new multimedia series designed for travellers and travel advisors alike.

The series spotlights the lives of local people guests meet on Insight’s journeys, offering a deeper connection to each destination. Through immersive video, editorial features, and compelling photography, Encounters goes beyond traditional brochures to reveal the heart and soul of the places Insight explores.

“We created Encounters to champion the human connections that define truly enriching travel,” said Lottie Norman, Global CMO of Insight Vacations. “In a world of quick scrolls and fleeting impressions, we wanted to pause and tell real stories, in depth, with beauty, purpose, and soul. These are the people who bring our destinations to life, and Encounters is how we honour them.”

The first three episodes of Encounters revolve around Alaska, where audiences get to know Martin Buser, a four-time Iditarod champion and world record-holding dog musher. Guests can meet Buser in person on Insight Vacations’ Jewels of Alaska tour.  With over 112,000 views on the lead episode, the content has already made an impression with audiences globally.
