Stuart Morcombe Joins TDC as BDM and Network Support

Stuart Morcombe has been named Manager, Business Development and Network Support, TDC.
Transat Distribution Canada (TDC), has announced the appointment of Stuart Morcombe as Manager, Business Development and Network Support, effective November 24, 2025.
“We are thrilled to welcome Stuart to the team,” said Dianne Jackson, Director of Franchise and Affiliate Members at TDC. “His deep understanding of consortia operations and network member needs—combined with his marketing expertise—will help our members strengthen their presence in their local markets. Stuart’s ability to build strong relationships and his experience in social media marketing will be invaluable as we continue to support growth and innovation across the network.”
In this new role, Morcombe will lead the organization, planning, and expansion of TDC’s franchise and affiliate business across Canada (excluding Quebec). His responsibilities will include contract management, member engagement, and ensuring brand compliance and operational excellence. He will also support members in maximizing preferred partner sales and driving overall agency profitability.
Morcombe brings more than 20 years of leadership experience in the Canadian travel and customer experience industries, with a strong background in sales, marketing, and strategic business development. His previous roles include senior positions with T.Comm/Advantage Travel (later Thomas Cook and now part of TDC), Vasco and Gamma Travel, and Xperigo, where he specialized in account management, contract negotiation, and marketing.

In addition to his corporate achievements, Stuart founded Not the Status Quo, a consultancy dedicated to innovative problem-solving for the travel industry and is also an active contributor to the industry community, having served as past president of Skâl Toronto.
