Celebrating the best of the Canadian travel industry, Travel Market Report Canada’s annual Canadian Travel Awards is set for this evening at Hotel X Toronto.
There are other award shows, but the Canadian travel industry has never seen anything like this!
Musical icon Jim Cuddy will kick off the event, performing some of the beloved Canadian anthems created over his 40-year career with Blue Rodeo.
Formed in 1984, the band sold more than two million records before the turn of the millennium, thanks to songs like ‘5 Days in May,’ ‘Hasn’t Hit Me Yet,’ ‘Try,’ ‘Lost Together’ and many more. The band continues to tour and make great music to this day.

Cuddy, an avid traveller himself, will sign an acoustic guitar that will be auctioned off during the event with all proceeds going to hurricane relief in Jamaica – a destination that’s close to the hearts of our industry.
We’d love for every one of you to be there, but since that’s not possible, we’re inviting all Canadian travel advisors to join our private Facebook Group and watch a live stream beginning at 7 pm EST. Just click on the link, ask to join and we’ll make sure you’re admitted. Plus when joining our private Facebook group, you’ll receive a free 3GB eSIM card with a lifetime discount of 50%. You will also receive 100 1GB eSIM cards to share with your clients. Once you’ve joined, simply scan the QR code to claim your offer.
Thousands of travel advisors from Newfoundland to British Columbia cast ballots for the awards, singling out your picks for the best of the best tour operators, airlines, tourist boards, hoteliers, BDMs, travel advisor advocates, and industry personalities.

Nearly 400 attendees will include advisors invited by supplier partners and 15 travel professionals from across the country who won an all-expenses-paid trip to the event in the Porter Zone, courtesy of Porter Airlines.
It’s going to be a night to remember – the first of many – brought to you by the people who have hosted Travel Market Place for the past decade – Canada’s premier educational conference held annually in Vancouver, Calgary and Toronto – and for the first time next year in Montreal.
