Pat Brady Joins Sunwing Vacations as Director, Commercial Operations

Veteran industry executive Pat Brady has joined the Sunwing Vacations Group as Director, Commercial Operations.

Brady left Transat late last year after 30 years with the company. She shared her news in a LinkedIn post, saying she’s thrilled and that the “opportunity comes at a particularly exciting time, as the group is integrating two of Canada’s leading travel companies, among others, under one dynamic organization.

I’m honoured to be part of this transformation and excited for what lies ahead. Grateful for the journey so far and the incredible people who’ve supported me along the way — your encouragement has meant so much,” she continued.

Brady’s appointment is the latest in a slew of executive changes. Most recently, Andrew Dawson announced he will retire as President of Sunwing Vacations Group in March 2026. Samantha Taylor will add the WestJet portfolio to her existing Marketing and Digital roles with Sunwing, and will also take on the role of Chief Experience Officer for the group.

WestJet continues to integrate Sunwing’s operations following the purchase of the company in May 2023. As recently announced, Sunwing’s Boeing 737 fleet will move under WestJet’s Air Operator’s Certificate as of May 29, 2025.
