Bravo! Transat Distribution Canada Celebrates Top Advisors in Morocco
by Bruce Parkinson
Transat Distribution Canada (TDC) recently celebrated the exceptional performance of approximately 60 of its top travel advisors by treating them to a seven-night dream trip to Club Med La Palmeraie in Marrakech, Morocco.
The exclusive trip, offered in collaboration with Transat, took place from May 31 to June 8, and featured professionals hailing from Transat Travel/Voyages Transat agencies, the agent@home program, and its franchise and affiliate agencies across Canada.
“The advisors in the TDC network are our eyes and ears for travellers across the country,” said TDC General Manager Karine Gagnon.
“These passionate professionals inspire their customers every day, and this Bravo reward trip is our way of recognizing their tremendous value and saying thank you. These exceptional men and women had to qualify for this dream trip, and it’s thanks to their outstanding combined sales of Air Canada Vacations and WestJet Vacations that they earned their spot.”

Anthony Mormina, Senior Director of Sales and Operations, had the pleasure of hosting participants on the trip, alongside TDC regional managers Dan Prior and Sandra Ferlatte.
“It’s a real privilege to be able to share activities and moments of relaxation with the advisors on my team. And since these people come from our agencies across the country, it’s even more valuable to create these rare opportunities to connect and enjoy the activity that unites us all: travel.”
Although the trip is primarily intended for Transat Travel/Voyages Transat agency advisors, TDC also offers its franchisees and affiliates the opportunity to take advantage of the Bravo trip program for their teams at cost.
Each year, additional spots are reserved for them, and owners are encouraged to take advantage of this powerful tool to motivate and reward the exceptional performance of one or more of their advisors who have distinguished themselves by achieving sales targets.

The winners arrived in Marrakech on Air Transat and were immediately immersed in the Moroccan atmosphere. Since the goal of the trip was to have a good time, the advisors first enjoyed the incredible setting and wide variety of activities offered by TDC’s partner, Club Med.
Several excursions were also offered to the winners, including a tuk-tuk tour of Marrakech, shopping in the souk, a camel ride in the Agafay Desert, a Moroccan cooking class, an excursion to the Ouzoud waterfalls, and more.
To recognize the outstanding contribution of the advisors who participated in this trip, TDC organized the Bravo Recognition Evening, which took place at the Jad Mahal Palace, where Moroccan culture was in the spotlight, after an awards ceremony at Club Med La Palmeraie.

The evening was an opportunity for Gagnon and Mormina to congratulate the deserving advisors for their outstanding efforts throughout the year. “This trip is our gift to you, our way of saying bravo and thank you for your exemplary dedication, and this evening is a celebration of each of you individually and collectively,” Gagnon told the recipients.
Next Stop: The Algarve in 2026
TDC has announced that its 2026 recognition trip for travel advisors will be to the Algarve, Portugal for a seven-night, all-inclusive stay at the brand new 5-star Tivoli Alvor hotel complex. “TDC would not be able to offer such memorable trips without the participation of its valued partners. And as we are an integral part of Transat, the tour operator’s contribution is essential in creating these memorable trips,” Gagnon said.
