ACTA launches CTC, CTM Bursary Program to Support Member Certification

ACTA President Suzanne Acton-Gervais.

ACTA has announced the launch of a new CTC & CTM Bursary Program aimed at supporting professional development within the Canadian travel trade.

The program is in partnership with Atlantis Bahamas Resorts and Auto Europe.

Through the initiative, 27 bursaries will be awarded to ACTA members pursuing the Certified Travel Counsellor (CTC) and Certified Travel Manager (CTM) designations — two of the industry’s most recognized professional credentials.

ACTA says the program reinforces their ongoing commitment to education, certification and lifelong learning by helping reduce financial barriers for advisors and managers who are investing in their professional growth and looking to advance their careers.

ACTA members can qualify for a bursary through one of two pathways:

  • Webinar & Specialist Program Track, or
  • ACTA Educational Events Track

Members are only required to complete the requirements of one track to be eligible.
