Brightline Introduces FLEX Fare Options for Train Travel to/from Orlando

Brightline has introduced new FLEX fare options designed for guests traveling to or from Orlando who want a little bit more flexibility with their purchase.

“We understand that travel plans can change, sometimes unexpectedly,” said Julie Sharenow, vice president of sales, Brightline Trains Florida.  “That’s why we’re committed to offering fare options that provide our guests with the flexibility they need to book with confidence. By expanding choice and giving travelers greater control over their journeys, we’re making it easier for our guests to travel on their terms while continuing to deliver the exceptional experience they expect from us.”

With the addition, guests can now choose travel in SMART or PREMIUM service coaches with three levels of fare flexibility:

[new] FLEX: Guests can cancel for a refund to their original form of payment or change their trip with limited fees. These fares can be modified prior to day of departure for only the fare difference or on the day of departure to any other departure on the same date for free.

SELECT: Provides limited options for trip modifications. These fares can be canceled and guests will receive a 75% credit to their Brightline Wallet. SELECT fares can be modified for a change fee and applicable fare difference at any time.

SAVER: Only available for SMART service bookings, these fares can be canceled, but guests do not receive any refund or credit. These fare bookings cannot be modified.

Additionally, FLEX fares include one large bag, two carry-on size bags, and a personal item. These fares also include a complimentary one-way airport transfer between Brightline MiamiCentral and Miami International Airport, or between Fort Lauderdale Station and Fort Lauderdale – Hollywood International Airport via Brightline’s Airport Connector Shuttle.

SELECT fares include two carry-on size bags and a personal item, while SAVER fares include on carry-on sized bag and a personal item.
