David Neeleman, the entrepreneur best known for founding Morris Air, WestJet, JetBlue and Azul, has revealed new details about his newest upcoming airline start-up, Breeze Airways. Formerly known by the placeholder title “Moxy”, Neeleman’s newest airline endeavor promises to provide low fares and connections to U.S. city pairs that currently have no nonstop service.

“Breeze will fly non-stop service between places currently without meaningful or affordable service,” said Breeze Airways’ President and CEO, David Neeleman.  “20 years ago, we brought humanity back to the airline industry with JetBlue.  Today, we’re excited to introduce plans for ‘the World’s Nicest Airline’.”

In anticipation of its launch, Breeze has ordered sixty brand-new Airbus 220-300 aircrafts to be delivered in April 2021, and has leased thirty Embraer 195 aircraft from Azul, which will be to be delivered in May 2020.

Currently, company is in the process of applying for its airline operating certificate, and barring approval from the Federal Aviation Administration and US Department of Transportation, Breeze Airways expects to be flying by the end of 2020.
