Delta Air Lines Begins Selling Business-Class Suites, Premium Select Seats

Delta One Suite.

Delta’s new Delta One suites and Premium Select fares are now on sale.

The fares will be available starting with the airline’s first Airbus A350, set to enter service in October 2017, flying from Detroit (DTW) to Narita (NRT).

Every A350 will feature 32 Delta One business-class suites, each with a sliding privacy door and privacy dividers between the center suites. Each also will have a fully flat bed, Westin Heavenly In-Flight Bedding and direct aisle access for every passenger, which Delta introduced eight years ago, as well as  dedicated stowage compartments for shoes, headphones and laptops.

Other features include customizable ambient lighting; a memory foam-enhanced seat cushion; a universal power outlet and USB port; and an 18-inch, high-resolution entertainment monitor, which Delta says is the largest among U.S. carriers. Delta even will provide loungewear to Delta One guests on long-haul flights.

Premium Select will then be available on select flights from Detroit to Incheon (ICN) starting on November 16 and on select flights from Detroit to Beijing (PEK) starting on January 17, 2018. Delta One suites will then be rolled out on Delta’s Boeing 777 fleet following the A350 debut.

Delta Premium Select passengers get up to 38 inches of pitch, 19 inches of width and seven inches of recline along with adjustable leg rests and head rests. The fare also gets them Westin Heavenly In-Flight Blanket and pillow, TUMI amenity kit featuring Malin+Goetz Travel Essentials, noise-canceling LSTN headphones and a 13-inch high resolution entertainment screen.

Both Premium Select and A350 guest get access to Delta’s Sky Priority service, which includes expedited check-ins and security along with premium boarding.
