St. Kitts Tourism Authority Names New CEO

St. Kitts Tourism Authority has named Anne Kelly Fontenelle-Clarke, a 25-year veteran in the tourism and event management sectors, as its new CEO.

Fontenelle-Clarke brings expertise in the Caribbean and romance travel markets to the top role, which she officially steps into on July 1.

“St. Kitts has emerged as a premier destination on the global stage, demonstrating remarkable resilience post-pandemic,” Fontenelle-Clarke said. “I am excited to continue driving creative strategies to increase St. Kitts’ visibility, expand into new markets, continue drawing the romance crowd to the island, and ensure it is a top consideration for all travelers.”

Fontenelle-Clarke is a St. Lucia native who served as director of marketing for St. Lucia Tourism Authority in the United States. She also founded Travel Advisors Selling the Caribbean and is a former TMR team member.

“We’re so happy for Kelly to join St. Kitts. She was an incredible team member during her tenure at TMR and we can’t think of a better person to lead St. Kitts Tourism Authority. We know she’s going to do incredible things for the destination, and she’ll always be part of our family,” TMR’s Editor-in-Chief and VP Daniel McCarthy said.

As CEO, Fontenelle-Clarke will lead St. Kitts Tourism Authority’s international marketing efforts with focuses on the travel trade and airline relationships. She will also focus on the leisure, cruise, romance, and MICE markets.
