Cruise guests leaving out of Port Everglades in Ft. Lauderdale will soon have another option for their pre- or post-sailing stay.

Aloft this week that its new 14-story hotel in Ft. Lauderdale, just three-and-a-half miles from the Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport and one-and-a-half miles from the Port Everglades cruise terminals, will open in November.

The hotel will include 138 rooms ranging from 294 to 475 sq. ft., each with 9 ft. ceilings and panoramic views of the surrounding skyline. Outside of the guestrooms, Aloft by Marriott at Ft. Lauderdale will include an 800 sq. ft. fitness center, yoga terrace, a rooftop pool on the 14th floor, and an Aloft-branded breakfast eatery called Re:fuel by Aloft.

The hotel will also offer complimentary on-site parking, which includes electric car charging stations. Pets are welcome at the property for a $50 per night fee.

“There is so much to do in the Fort Lauderdale area,” said General Manager James Lalanne. “This property offers a location ideally accessible to airline and cruise passengers, guests enjoying the sights and sounds of downtown Fort Lauderdale, and those in town for major sporting and entertainment events at DRV PNK Stadium and the iconic Hard Rock Stadium.”
