Luxury expedition operator andBeyond has restructured its leadership team to support its rapid expansion across Africa, Asia, and South America. Effective March 1, 2026, the company will introduce specialist-focused leadership with dedicated oversight across andBeyond’s portfolio of lodges, camps, and yachts, as well as its tailormade tour operations.

As part of the restructuring, Mark Wheeler has been appointed president of andBeyond Group, overseeing the day-to-day operations of the business globally. The enables Joss Kent, executive chairman and CEO to focus more on long-term strategy, impact, business development, growth partnerships, government and other stakeholder engagement, as well as strengthening relationships across the global trade network.

Other changes include:

Niall Anderson has been named as chief operating officer, lodges, camps, and yachts. He will oversee the portfolio of accommodations to ensure one consistent standard, strategy, and guest experience across Africa, Asia, and South America.

Kevin Pretorius has been named managing director of South American lodges, camps, yachts, and growth, while Brendan Streak has been named managing director of South Africa lodges, with responsibility for Phinda Private Game Reserve, Ngala Private Game Reserve, and the continued evolution of the brand’s founding landscapes.

Riaan Venter has been promoted to group guest experience director. He will drive and develop the guest experience across andBeydon’s global lodge, camp, and yacht portfolio.

Finally, Jason King has been named managing director of Southern Africa lodges and Asia growth. He will lead lodge operations across Southern Africa, spearheading frontier conservation business development initiatives in Africa, and drive the development of andBeyond’s future lodge portfolio in India, Nepal, Sri Lanka, and Bhutan together with Suhail Gupta, managing director of andBeyond Asia.

All leadership appointments were made from within the organization, combining long-standing experience with fresh perspectives to ensure continuity of andBeyond’s culture and DNA.
