Belmond Set to Open Riviera Nayarit Hotel in 2025

Belmond Set to Open Riviera Nayarit Hotel in 2025

A stretch of beach along the Riviera Nayarit will be home to a new Belmond hotel in 2025.

Belmond has entered into a management agreement with Cora Pacific Development for the building of Milaroca, a Belmond Hotel, in the Riviera Nayarit region of Mexico. The hotel will join two other Belmond properties in Mexico.

Milaroca will stretch across more than two kilometers of white sand beach. It will make use of low-density and non-invasive building practices, with each of the 57 guest pavilions offering contemporary custom-made furniture and crafted objects from local artisans. Accommodation options will include junior suites, one-bedroom suites, jungle suites, and 12 three-bedroom villas, many with private plunge pools.

Additionally, the property will have six distinct dining venues with ingredients supplies by an on-location organic farm.  It will also have a wellness center, four outdoor swimming pools, and a curated retail offering.

“Our families have been traveling together to this beautiful area of Mexico for many years,” said Barbara Machen and Rosetta Getty, the entrepreneur duo behind Cora Pacific Development. “As entrepreneurs and creatives ourselves we understand the importance of the destination that inspire, and we want to share our magical experience… Milaroca will be like no other resort, and Belmond is the only hospitality brand that truly creates unique luxury experiences in this way.”
