Another day, another travel company carving out resources to continue its growth in the premium and luxury markets.
This time it’s BWH Hotels—the parent company of WorldHotels, Best Western, and SureStay—which announced the creation of a new global upscale and luxury sales team designed to capture the sustained demand for high-end travel.
The nine-member team, consisting of sales leaders each responsible for a distinct global region (including Canada and Europe), will specifically focus on expanding the WorldHotels brand. A key part of their mandate will be targeting corporate travel buyers and the lucrative “bleisure” market.
In its announcement, BWH highlighted 11 of its WorldHotels properties that cater to this segment, including:
- Aiden Kansas City Downtown: A new boutique hotel in Kansas City, Missouri.
- Caribe Royale Orlando: An all-suite resort in Central Florida featuring extensive corporate meeting space.
- Eden Roc Miami Beach: An iconic oceanfront resort on Miami Beach.
- Hotel Gio, BW Signature Collection: A Stockholm property designed for both business and leisure travelers.
- Orakai Songdo Park Hotel: An Incheon, South Korea, property overlooking Songdo Central Park.
- The Loren at Lady Bird Lake: A lakeside luxury hotel in Austin, Texas, offering rooftop dining and panoramic city views.
“The launch of this premium sales division marks a defining moment in our long-term growth vision, strengthening competitiveness in the corporate arena and reinforcing our evolution into a multi-segment global hospitality enterprise,” said Chad Fletcher, Senior Vice President of Worldwide Sales at BWH Hotels. “With the ongoing boom of bleisure travel, corporate demand continues to create immense opportunities for expansion in the upscale market.”
