Marriott International’s Caribbean and Latin America (CALA) division has promoted two team leads to be directors of travel industry sales.

Rebecca McArthur is Marriott CALA’s new Director, Travel Industry Sales – Retail, and Lindi Halpin is its new Director, Travel Industry Sales – Wholesale. Both have been working with Marriott for over a decade.

McArthur joined Marriott in 2014, most recently as the Team Leader for Retail in the CALA region. In her new role, she’ll focus on strengthening relationships with travel agencies and optimizing distribution strategies.

Halpin has been with Marriott since 2009 and joined the CALA sales team in 2014. She was previously the team’s market sales leader. She’ll now focus on wholesale partnerships and enhancing product visibility in that space.

Marriott has been boosting its presence in CALA with new all-inclusive resorts, such as Hacienda del Mar Los Cabos, Autograph Collection and the converted Marriott Cancun.
