Princess Senses The Mangrove, an adults-only resort in Jamaica, will reopen on Feb. 1, following a closure that allowed time for recovery from Hurricane Melissa in October 2025.
In addition, the resort’s family-friendly counterpart, Princess Grand Jamaica, will reopen on March 1. The dual properties are located side-by-side on the northwestern edge of Jamaica, which bore the brunt of the storm, about an hour and half drive from Sangster International Airport in Montego Bay.
“This reopening represents far more than the return of a resort,” said Marc Pelfort, regional director of sales and marketing for Princess Hotels & Resorts Jamaica. “It reflects the resilience of Jamaica, the strength of the destination and the unwavering dedication of our team. Our commitment to Jamaica is deep and long-standing, and we are honored to play a role in the island’s continued growth as we welcome travelers to our paradise.”
To celebrate its return, Princess Senses The Mangrove is offering guests up to 60% stays booked through Feb. 8 for travel through Oct. 31, 2027.
The resort features 401 ocean-view suites and 14 overwater villas, many restaurants and bars, several swimming pools including a rooftop infinity pool, spa, nightly entertainment, and a white sand beach.
