Sunset World Group Enters Travel Trade Market

Mexico resort operator Sunset World Group has begun a strategic initiative to enter the travel trade market and engage with the travel advisor community.

Sunset World Group’s six all-inclusive resorts in the Mexican Caribbean are now distributed through travel advisors, consortia networks, and tour operators. The move comes as the brand upgrades its properties to enhance experiences, accommodations, and culinary offerings, most recently at Hacienda Tres Ríos.

“This is a natural evolution for Sunset World Group. As we elevate our product, we are also elevating how we connect with our guests,” said Mauricio Leyva, corporate commercial Director of Sunset World Group. “Travel advisors and strategic partners are essential in delivering personalized, high-value travel experiences, and we are excited to collaborate more closely with them moving forward.”

The company has also fully redesigned its website and launched a next-generation booking engine to meet travel advisors’ needs. There, advisors can book the following resorts, located in Cancún, Riviera Maya, and Playa del Carmen: Sunset Royal Beach Resort, Sunset Marina Resort & Yacht Club, Sunset Fishermen Beach Resort, Hacienda Tres Ríos Resort Spa & Nature Park, Ocean Spa Hotel, and Laguna Suites Golf + Spa.

As part of its commitment to travel advisors, Sunset World Group also plans to offer educational webinars and training programs, FAM trip opportunities, and dedicated sales, marketing, and business development support.
