The W Algarve, located atop of Southern Portugal’s cliffs in the coastal town of Albufeira, has launched a series of immersive culinary masterclasses for guests. During each class, guests are invited to taste, learn, and create alongside expert chefs and mixologists.

Classes include:

Cataplana Masterclass: On Tuesdays at Market Kitchen, guests can take part in a guided Cataplana Masterclass, learning to prepare one of the Algarve’s traditional seafood dishes alongside executive chef Andrea Ciuccio.

Sushi Masterclass: Market Kitchen will also host a Sushi Masterclass every Friday, where guests can craft flavorful sushi rolls, accompanied with complementary house wines. Guests can learn to make a variety of rolls with fresh fish from the region, including California Rolls, Spicy Tuna Rolls, Salmon Avocado Rolls, and more.

Pizza Masterclass: Held on Wednesdays and Sundays at Paper Moon, adults and children can participate in a guided Pizza Masterclass, creating their own pizza from scratch before cooked it in the restaurant’s brick oven.

Mixology Masterclass: Available on Mondays and Thursdays at the W Lounge, guests can attend a Mixology Masterclass, where they join the hotel’s bartenders and expert mixologists to craft cocktails, discovering distinctive flavors and techniques. They may choose from a signature cocktail on the menu or learn how to perfect a classic.
