W Punta Cana, the first all-inclusive resort for the W Hotels brand, is now officially open. The luxury, adults-only property marks a milestone as its parent company, Marriott, continues to grow in the all-inclusive space.
The new Dominican Republic resort features 340 guest rooms and suites, including 46 suites with either exclusive swim-up pools or full-size private pools. The property has a communal layout with pockets of privacy among its 12 restaurants and lounges.
“Tucked between lush jungle and the electric blues of the Caribbean Sea, W Punta Cana is everything W Hotels is known for – daring design, unexpected moments, and a totally new spin on all-inclusive luxury,” said Brian King, president of Marriott International, Caribbean and Latin America. “This isn’t just a resort – it’s a vibe, a movement, a new way to travel. I couldn’t be prouder of what we’ve created and the incredible local community and partners who helped make it happen. We’re not following trends – we’re creating them.”
W Punta Cana also offers the W brand’s signature WET Deck, a large pool and a Chill pool, 10 treatment rooms at the AWAY Spa, and a 24/7 FIT gym.
The grand opening announcement comes after W Punta Cana appointed Miriam Hernandez as its dedicated sales and marketing director, who is responsible for maintaining industry partnerships.
This is only the beginning for W Hotels’ entry to the all-inclusive space; the brand also plans to open resorts in Corasol Playa del Carmen and Costa Mujeres in 2028 and 2029, respectively.
