Hackers stole payment card information from Omni Hotels, the company said Friday.
Malware was installed into the hotel chain’s point-of-sale systems, leaving cardholder names, card numbers, expiration dates and security codes vulnerable. The malware may have been operational from Dec. 23, 2015 to June 14, 2016, Omni said on its website.
The properties hit by the data breach were not disclosed.
