African Travel Offering Extra Commission for Group Bookings This Year

African Travel Inc., the Africa-centric brand from The Travel Corp., is giving travel advisors extra incentives to book groups this year.

Through Dec. 15, 2022, African Travel is giving travel advisors an extra $500, along with their commission, for bookings of groups of 10 or more clients. The incentive is for all bookings made by that date for itineraries into 2024.

African Travel’s offerings are all customized and include itineraries built for Egypt, South Africa, Kenya, Tanzania, and more. The company said it expects, with demand still high, to raise prices in 2023. It has added a number of dates for its small group departure offerings for the end of 2022 that can be booked by the end of September.

That includes Egypt, which is nearly sold out for 2022, and African Travel’s Wonders of Egypt departure from Cairo to Aswan that combines a land tour with a sailing on Uniworld’s River Tosca, and its 10-day South Africa at Leisure itinerary that includes a four-night stay at the Shamwari Game Reserve where guests can get up close and personal with the Big Five.

“Current travel trends are indicating that safaris are a top bucket list item since clients are seeking immersive experiences and we see pent-up demand including an increase in last-minute safari bookings,” said Sherwin Banda, President of African Travel, Inc.

“Africa will be welcoming the green season with baby wildlife in abundance and amazing animal sightings, so we encourage Travel Advisors to book their clients’ safaris now since space is limited on our most popular trips.”
