Delta Vacations Adds New Day Tours in Europe and Asia

Delta Vacations Adds New Day Tours in Europe and Asia

Ireland, County Dublin, Dublin, Wood Quay, St Patrick’s Cathedral and St Patricks Park

Delta Vacations recently added several experiential tours and activities in Ireland, Italy, Thailand and Hong Kong to its portfolio.

In Ireland, the Howth Village and Malahide Castle walking tour explores the local fishing village, famed castle and private gardens, while the On the City By Night Tour explores Dublin. Several raid tours were introduced, including the Gap of Dunloe & Killarney Lakes Rail Tour; the Kilkenny City and Waterford Crystal Rail Tour, a day trip to southeast Ireland; the Wicklow Mountaineer Rail Tour of Ireland’s Ancient East; and the Belfast City Rail Tour through northern Ireland.

Tours were added to the Italian island of Sicily, such as the Agrigento Tour highlighting the ancient Greek city of Akragas and the UNESCO World Heritage site Valley of the Temples. The Palermo and Monreale Tour explores the former for its culture and architecture and the latter for its orange, olive and almond trees. On the Etna and Taormina Tour, witness the natural beauty and picturesque sights of the Silvestri craters from the volcanic eruption of 1892; the Zafferana Etnea, a famous organic farm that produces honey, wine and other staples; the Isola Bella wildlife reserve, which is considered the “pearl of the Ionian sea” and historical palaces and cathedrals of Taormina.

Professional instructors lead the Phuket Cooking Class in southern Thailand with a market tour and an interactive, hands-on cooking experience. The Phuket Island Tour provides a guided cultural and architectural heritage tour of the island with sights of temples, offshore islands and Sino-Portuguese buildings. Another culinary-inspired addition, travelers can take the Hong Kong Munchies Walking Tour along the Dr Sun Yat-sen Historical Trail filled with local samples.

These optional tours are fully commissionable and are now available to be added to a flight and hotel package to these destinations.
