Small group adventure tour specialist Explore Worldwide has appointed Aaron Fitzpatrick as the new business development manager for North America.

Based in Toronto, Ontario, Fitzpatrick will help strengthen the tour operator’s expansion into the U.S. and Canada by growing trade sales and strengthening relationships with key trade partners and travel advisors throughout North America.

Explore Worldwide is expanding into the North American market, led by Toronto-based Katy Rockett, regional director for North America. This new hire is the latest development in the company’s overall growth strategy.

“This newly created role marks an important phase in our growth plan and business development to support the trusted advisor community across both Canada and the U.S.,” said Rockett.

Fitzpatrick joins from events and media company Science Everywhere, where he served as a project lead and host. He brings to the newly created BDM role more than a decade of experience in customer relations and a deep passion for travel.

“Aaron’s proven track record at delivering exceptional client service, coupled with his business acumen and understanding of the travel space as a former tour guide, make him instrumental to the work our growing team is doing,” added Rockett.
