Kensington Launches Ultraluxe Travel Division with 28 Signature Journeys

Kensington has expanded its range of custom private guided luxury travel with Kensington Ultraluxe, a new division focused on fully curated journeys across land, sea and air, supported by discreet, white-glove service.

Ultraluxe combines several brands under one portfolio: Kensington Ultraluxe Land Tours, Kensington Villas, Kensington Expeditions, and sister company, Kensington Yachts. The division was created for travelers who value rare access and complete privacy, combining refined and immersive experiences with Kensington’s meticulous attention to detail.

Debuting with Ultraluxe is Ultraluxe Land Tours. Kensington developed the brand in response to client demand for elevated land-based journeys. An alternative to traditional land tours, this collection of experiences centers on 5-star accommodations, private expert-led experiences, and exclusive after-hours access to landmarks and cultural icons.

In addition to the over 5,000 vessels offered by Kensington Yachts and the more than 5,000 fully vetted private residences in the Kensington Villas portfolio, the luxury tour operator’s brand Kensington Expeditions features a collection of private, custom itineraries full of exclusive experiences that pair travelers with leading scientists, marine biologists, explorers, and cultural experts.

“Ultraluxe reflects both the evolution of our clients and the evolution of Kensington,” said Helen Giontsis, president of Kensington. “We are seeing increased demand for highly personalized, access-driven travel at the very top of the market.  Our clients are looking for experiences that are impossible to replicate and deeply personal in design. Ultraluxe brings together our global relationships, destination intelligence and discretion to deliver access at a level few can offer.”

At launch, the Ultraluxe portfolio includes 28 signature itineraries. Highlights include:

  • A private jet journey through Thailand, featuring behind-the-scenes cultural access and intimate encounters at Four Seasons Tented Camp.
  • A French Polynesia experience combining private yacht charter with seamless private jet transfers between islands.
  • Italy with unrivaled access, including private entry to the Vatican Museums, lighting the Sistine Chapel candles at dawn, a private viewing of Michelangelo’s David, and special palace access for a curated wine tasting.
  • Paris, Provence and the French Riviera, featuring Michelin-starred cuisine prepared exclusively in a private Paris residence, followed by a vintage sidecar journey through Aix-en-Provence and along the Riviera.
  • Greek Isles by Private Air, exploring Greece with scenic helicopter transfers between islands, five-star accommodations, and a private yacht cruise.
  • Iceland Reimagined, soaring above volcanic craters and dramatic fjords by helicopter, retreating to a remote private farm with bespoke activities and refined comforts, and embarking on an expert-guided fly-fishing adventure.

“We have seen a clear and consistent rise in demand from our repeat clients for experiences that move beyond traditional luxury. Exclusivity today is not about extravagance alone. It is about personalization and access,” said Edita Sgovio, vice president, Kensington Yachts and Ultraluxe. “We begin by understanding who our clients are and what inspires them. From there, we design experiences that cannot be replicated or purchased off the shelf. If a client can imagine it, our team has the relationships and expertise to bring it to life with the highest standards of personalization and care.”
