Bespoke tour operator Unforgettable Travel has announced a new collection of Japan itineraries, created in response to traveler demand.
The new Japan Collection was created in response to increased demand: the country remains on of the most in-demand destinations for travel globally, and accounts for 80% of all inquiries Unforgettable Travel receives for Asia travel.
Unforgettable Travel is a tour operator that specializes in custom, luxury travel. The new itineraries were designed by its destination experts to showcase the range of experiences available from visiting an award-winning sake brewery to bathing in traditional hot springs alongside the country’s famed snow monkeys.
Unforgettable Travel’s Japan collection currently has 11 itineraries listed online, which are private and customizable. New itineraries include (but are not limited to):
Japan for Families: Tokyo to Osaka: a 12-day tailor-made adventure designed with family-friendly experiences, such as sumo matches to ninja workshops. The tour begins in Tokyo with private cycling tours, folllowed by an exploration of the nature surrounding Hakone, and finishing in Osaka to enjoy private city tours, access to Universal Studios Japan, and a day trip to Nara.
Discover South Korea & Japan: a two-week private journey that contrasts the unique energy and ancient history of cities like Seoul and Gyeongju to the traditions and culture of Kyoto and Tokyo. Experiences include hiking in Bukhansan National Park, a cooking class in Busan, and private tea ceremonies in Kyoto.
“At Unforgettable Travel, we are seeing a shift in how people want to experience Japan, wanting to travel further and more deeply,” said Graham Carter, co-founder, Unforgettable Travel. “There is a growing appetite for meaningful, cultural discovery, seasonal travel — particularly during the autumn — and going beyond the classic ‘Golden Route’ to lesser-visited regions such as the Japanese Alps. Our new collection responds to this shift, balancing iconic experiences and deeper, more immersive exploration, helping travellers experience Japan’s rich and varied culture year-round.”
