Bhutan, Mexico Spotlighted on Agent Fams, Conference

Fams to Explore Bhutan, Thailand, Mongolia and Bangladesh
Pacific Holidays announced several new travel agent fam trips for 2013.The 10-day Bhutan Enchantment trip runs from Dec. 2-12, priced at $3,295 per agent, with airfare and taxes included. The 11-day Cultural Thailand trip departs on Oct. 15 and is priced at $1,999 per agent, with airfare and taxes included. The 10-day Mongolia Adventure begins on Sept. 17 and is priced at $3,599 per agent, airfare and taxes included. The Bangladesh Discovery tour departs on Oct. 9 for 10 nights, priced from $2,995 per agent, airfare and taxes included.

Adventure Travel Mexico Conference Set for August
The Adventure Travel Trade Association (ATTA) is inviting travel agents and international buyers to ATMEX (Adventure Travel Mexico) taking place Aug. 14-17 in Veracruz, Mexico. The international trade and consumer adventure travel conference will feature adventure travel tour operators and destinations throughout Mexico. Museums Featured on Big Apple Fam
New York City Vacation Packages is offering agents an independent fam trip available from July 11 through Aug. 31 for a minimum of two nights. The host hotel is Le Parker Meridien in Midtown Manhattan. Agents will receive free admission to their choice of the Empire State Building Observatory, Museum of the City of New York or the New York Water Taxi Statue of Liberty Flex Pass. Free admission is also available to the American Museum of Natural History, the Metropolitan Museum of Art or the Top of the Rock Observation Deck. Discounts are available on several other activities and events, as well.

The trip is priced from $287.50 per person, double occupancy including all taxes. Airfare is not included. To book, call (570) 718-4701.

TRAINING
Windstar On the Road With Agent Seminars

Windstar Cruises is in the midst of a six-week road show, bringing travel agent seminars to cities across North America. The seminars are led by Dan Chappelle, Windstar’s vice president of sales, who will be joined by local regional sales managers in each location. The 90-minute presentations will cover new itineraries, education tools and the line’s recent power yacht fleet expansion.

The road show is visiting Minneapolis (May 23), Houston and Dallas (June 4), Newport Beach and Studio City, Calif., (June 5), San Francisco and San Jose, Calif., (June 6) and Vancouver, Canada (June 18). Agents can RSVP by emailing windstar_sales@windstarcruises.com.
