African Travel Hosting Safari Fam Trips

by Jessica Montevago  July 01, 2019
African Travel Hosting Safari Fam Trips

The two fam trips, to South Africa and Rwanda, will take place this November.

African Travel Inc. has put together two fam trips, to South Africa and Rwanda, for travel advisors.

An introductory educational safari will take place on Nov. 6-14, 2019. The first night kicks off in Johannesburg at the Peermont D’Oreal Grande. From there, advisors will spend two days going on game drives, each offering wildlife viewing in open vehicles, at Thornybush Private Nature Reserve. Accommodations will be at Thornybush Waterside Lodge.

Three nights in Cape Town will include a full-day excursion to the Cape Peninsula to discover the pristine coastline and a Cape Town city tour. At the Cape Winelands, guests will have lunch and a wine tasting followed by a cellar tour with a lesson in winemaking. Travelers will stay in the Queen Victoria Hotel and Belmond Mount Nelson.

The fam costs $2,995 per person. It includes round-trip economy international flights on South African Airways from New York’s JFK Airport and all internal flights, six nights’ accommodations on a shared basis (no companions permitted), touring and most meals, site inspections, transfers, park fees, and gratuities.

The deadline to apply is July 8, and the final payment must be received by Aug. 5.

The Rwanda pricing and itinerary has yet to be released, but it will take place in early November.

For more information about the fams, please contact: (800) 421-8907, Susannah Zani at ext. 1925 or Jenny Thomas at ext. 1924, or email info@africantravelinc.com.
