Direct Travel has announced the expansion of its leadership team with two new C-suite appointments, naming Matthew Minielly as chief financial officer and John Coffman as chief corporate development & business officer.

Minielly joins Direct Travel with two decades’ worth of financial leadership experience, including CFO stints at Allintus and Cunningham Lindsey. Most recently, he served as CFO at Partnerize (since March 2022), a partnership platform that uses automation technology to help brands track, manage, and grow revenue.

“Matthew joins us at a pivotal moment as our Avenir global corporate travel platform continues to scale,” said Christal Bemont, CEO of Direct Travel. “His experience leading complex, growth-oriented organizations will strengthen our ability to execute at enterprise level.”

John Coffman, who has served as Direct Travel’s CFO for more than a decade, is transitioning into a new role that focuses on corporate development, mergers and acquisitions strategy, and enterprise portfolio alignment across the company’s global businesses.

“John’s leadership has been foundational to who we are today,” said Bemont. “His strategic depth and broad operational perspective make him uniquely suited to guide our enterprise development as we continue to expand.”
