To celebrate the launch of their 2019 brochure, African Travel, Inc. is offering travel advisors the chance to win a safari vacation for two to South Africa.

The African travel specialist’s 2019 brochure includes eight new itineraries; several enhanced journeys that feature new hotels, experiences and activities; and one brand-new destination – Zambia.

The winner of the “Live the Dream” contest will spend three nights in Cape Town’s award-winning Twelve Apostles Hotel and Spa, where guest rooms either look out onto the Atlantic or the Twelve Apostles mountain range.

That portion of the trip is followed by three nights at Lion Sands, a private game reserve within the Sabi Sand Reserve (a private concession within the Kruger National Park). Guests are able to spend extended periods of time watching wildlife in its natural habitat; and vehicles are taken off-road in certain instances, depending on bush conditions and specific sightings.

The trip concludes with two nights at the iconic Oyster Box Hotel, located on Umhlanga’s prestigious beachfront. The preserved colonial-style hotel features an infinity pool with views of the Indian Ocean and the Umhlanga Lighthouse; luxurious individually designed rooms; and dining options, including the famous curry buffet and High Tea.

There are three ways to enter the “Live the Dream” contest:

  • Every new booking (valued at $6,000 or more per person) made between Sept. 1 and Dec. 31, 2018, for travel in 2019
  • Complete African Travel University
  • Post to one of African Travel’s social media accounts (Twitter, Facebook or Instagram) talking about where in Africa you would love to visit, with the #LiveTheATIDream hashtag

All entries will be entered into the drawing, and a winner will be selected on Jan. 5, 2019.

As an additional incentive, advisors can also earn $50 “dream dollars” per booking if they book a 2019 African Travel brochure itinerary or FIT itinerary (valued at $6,000 or more per person) between September 2018 and December 2018. Dream dollars, which are earned in addition to commission, can be used toward an African Travel educational trip in 2019 or for a personal safari vacation.
